Derwentwater

Spoilt for choice today.
After yesterday's squally showers the sky was blue first thing but gradually clouded over, but with the sun coming through frequently.
We went to church with Mum and while she cooked the dinner went for a walk down to the lake and back by the hill. The thighs were a bit stiff from yesterday and needed stretching before the journey back north.
Just before this shot I have some with the sun on Catbells just behind but the glow on the island trees and boats won.
