Michs memoirs

Today has been a good but really challenging day.
We started the day by meeting all the foreign as well as home students studying the PGE4 programme at IDRAC University. Upon arrival, we were each given a Barrett hat to wear. We then played some typically French games, and got to meet some of the other students too.

For lunch, we had baguette, cheese, and wine – very French. We continued to meet people from different countries and backgrounds which I loved.
The afternoon was filled with more French cultural activities. We went on a walking tour to discover the little ‘secret passageways’ to understand the history and culture behind the city a little bit more, which was interesting. Today’s blip is of a little ‘design’ courtyard. Students can rent a studio here and display and sell their work.

We finished the afternoon with a drink at Place de Terreaux, talking with some of the French students that will be joining us on the same programme.

“So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.” – Hebrews 10:35-36
