No Fish 'n' Chips
I would like to thank all of you who visited my 500th blip yesterday and for all your wonderful comments. I was so chuffed that you all liked it and thanks for all your encouraging words.
Today my mum was back at the hospital to see the doctor about her wrist. The doctor says it will probably be October before its back to normal. They have discharged her and the swelling is down a fair bit, so all's going well.
I took Hayley down to her work tonight at 6 pm and on the way home I went via Port Seaton. I know, a twenty five minute detour but I'm attracted to the sea just now for my blips. It was very calm down there tonight, the North Sea was a flat calm and the tide was in so the boats were bobbing about in the harbour. I took loads of shots and it was so difficult to choose one when I got home.
While watching Elton John live in concert on the red button, I finally settled on a picture. I like this because it has the boats which are a major industry for fishing and it has the two chimneys from Cockenzie Power Station which is another main employer in this area. They also have a great fish and chip shop just to the left of this shot, might visit there on another day.
