Currently restoring... When the Apple Genius told me to buy a new hard drive and install it myself I was skeptical. He promised it would be straightforward. The Maplin guys said all I need is a screwdriver licence. They were all correct. I did have to wait for my 99p torx screwdriver to arrive from ebay, but the new HD now in place, I'm just waiting for it all to do its stuff and be a happy computer again. With a bigger hard drive than before ;) I'm very excited about being able to do crazy things like finish application forms!

My parents are still here, better run off to meet them for afternoon tea now! Photos will come, once the beast is cooperating again. :D
