Wild weather

It has been a wild day, starting off with severe thunderstorms right through the night and most of the morning. We've had very heavy rain all day. The rivers are rising and we have lakes in our paddocks. The power kept going off while milking this morning, which is very frustrating.

This weather isn't just isolated to Murchison. Most of the South Island and lower North Island has been affected. Lets hope the weather clears soon, so the water has a chance to recede. Stay safe everyone affected by the weather.
