Kathleen MacInnes, and young Ben..

..Scourie hosted the BLAS Festival tonight, featuring Cruinn and Kathleen MacInnes. Young Ben started the show with a few solo numbers on his whistle. The audience was in awe. He will certainly be a talent later on. You've seen Ben before in my blog as the Scourie Chess star, I hope he will continue both..

The show continued with Cruinn (James Graham, Fiona Mackenzie, Brian O hEdhra and Rachel Walker. They were stunning, wonderful harmonising vocals.

The show continued after the raffle, with prizes ranging from a fresh veg box to ratchet straps and slings. (Wish I'd won the later).

Kathleen MacInnes played the second half, and was equally entertaining. For her encore, she invited Ben up to play. What a moment for him..

The night was a great success for the hall, and I look forward to next year..
