Growing old disgracefully

Oyster Bay Sunset

It's not actually called Oyster Bay. I've christened the wee bit of shore at the end of 'our' garden as it is littered with beautiful oyster shells- debris from the restaurant.

Feeling quietly pleased to be here, watching the sunset over the Sheep'sHead peninsula, spotting egrets overhead and anticipating a restorative week. Our accommodation was quite reasonably priced but is much more luxurious than we are used to - think a shower like Niagra and a huge freestanding bath encircled with candles where you can lie back and enjoy the view over a bonny meadow and a pimple with pretensions that we already think if as 'our' mountain.
