Casa TSN

We got up (reasonably) early on Saturday and had a wander through Ely and down to the river. We'd thought about hiring a boat but there were only two for hire and neither of them were available - plus it was quite pricey so we thought we'd save ourselves for punting in Cambridge. We had a wander about the Farmer's Market instead and bought a selection of fishcakes for tea - smoked haddock and spring onion, pollock, cream and parsley and Cromer crab cakes. We had a wander and took some photographs outside Ely Cathedral as well but didn't go in as we were HUNGRY.

Once we'd eaten it was the hottest part of the day and it was really hot. My pansy disposition is too used to the Scottish weather and I wilted. So we took picnic blankets out into the back garden and spent a most enjoyable afternoon sipping beer, reading, snoozing and taking pictures.

This is my first ever go at creating a collage in Photoshop and although it's quite wonky I'm very proud of it. It features Jasper the cat and Thierry the tortoise.
