Got up and checked out of CenterParcs this morning (true to form, James and I kept the cleaner waiting a good ten minutes extra while we scurried around packing and washing up, etc). We got a taxi back into Mansfield, had a quick look round a couple of shops there, then caught our train to Nottingham, and then on to London. I said goodbye to James at St Pancras, then headed home.

The tree outside our window was looking rather beautiful in the evening rain and sunlight.

It's been a fun weekend, but I'm so happy to be home and not going anywhere again for a while. It was lovely to see Tim when he got home, and then to have a chilled out evening in together.
