Another Sunset Song
I had a crisis of confidence today, a huge wobble about returning to University, the post grad information seemed like another language to me and I found myself convinced that I couldn't do it!!!! I am blessed that my friend has an unerring belief in me and I was gently becalmed and my confidence restored.
We spoke at length this evening which was a real treat, separated by the long road and miles but both being able to enjoy a walk, albeit mine took me only as far as the end of the lane where mother nature was unveiling a beautiful sunset. As we spoke I scaled the gate and knelt in the long wet grass in the field; the field the twins play in and the same field I played in as a child. As we talked I shot a frame every so often as the sun slowly arced away over the distant hills, the grass silhouetted against the ever changing sky just seemed to add a nice distraction to the shot.
To my friend, my eternal thanks, they have no idea how that belief and support transformed my mindset today and how their positivity helps me keep sight of my goal.
I hope you enjoy today's effort, I like the grass and the texture it brought against a sinking sun and a billowing storm set sky, the deep red sweeping as if up the cloud, what you get is what I see as you know I am not one to post shot edit, I suspect best viewed in large
