Break on through

A squall-lashed morning became a blue-skied sunny day as we left the hotel for a stroll along the strand. While waiting for the ferry, we investigated this 'installation'. I'd known it was there, having looked up Tiree photos on Flickr, and of course I didn't quite capture it as I'd seen it, but it was an interesting piece of art or something or other nonetheless. I'm not quite sure what the effect is meant to be, but it's got a window at the end, had unidentified birds' nests in it and reminds me of the loos at the Lido when I was a kid. Anyway, the ferry to Oban - Calmac's Lord of Isles - went via Coll, which was where we were going. We were the only ones to get off. Which was wierd. In a good way.
