5 today

What a pout!!
Here is the camera shy/stubborn birthday boy. Can't believe he's 5 already...!
It was just he & I for today so it was quite relaxed & low key.
He loved the Playmobil pirate ship he got which I set about building pretty much straight away. He breakfasted with the Avengers dinner set that Caroline got him, & Mum & Haydn called by too.
They got him a huge Playmobil Egyptian pyramid (which was half price in Toys R Us!)
He was so excited!
We took a trip to Uppermill & Haydn bought us pies, which we sat in the park & ate.

It was a sweet day & I reflected on this time back in 2008 when he was brand new. How scared I was with this tiny strange newborn & that I had no clue about anything- even changing a nappy! Good grief, what a different person was I then...

Happy birthday Ferguson George. You have grown so much from that tiny tranquil 6lbs 7oz child I held in my arms
