Kissimmee Prairie Preserve State Park entrance

2nd weekend camping trip in 2 weeks! but we wanted to take advantage of the holiday weekend...
the weather was nice until we got near the park, late afternoon thunderstorms being the norm this time of year. We got to see quite a show of lightning, and the rain went mostly around us. There is more water here than usual right now, since this summer has been so rainy.
(the ranger station and the campsite loops are still over 4 miles down the road)
