Belgium

There was rain in the night, heavy at times, along with lightening and thunder. The Marina was quiet and if it wasn't we wouldn't have noticed.

A slow start to the day although wide awake at 6.00. J had a chat with our camping car neighbours who are from NZ, they have enjoyed a number of tours in Europe and have bought this CC in the UK and plan to ship it back to NZ when the tour is over.

We set off at midday to head for a town near Spa in Belgium, very close to the Francorchamps circuit for the F1 race. (Where we fancy spectating next year). The town is called Malmedy, and on a Sunday afternoon it was delightful. Good looking buildings, flowers everywhere, people enjoying food and eating outside and a sort of music festival. We heard the music well in advance, certainly the drum. The aim was to blip a building to show off the slate work on the front and side of the buildings, instead I have chosen the two doors. Not a good shot, however the style and workmanship of each door is to be admired.
