With a beak like that, it’s no wonder the other birds move out of the way when the Nuthatch appears. And just look at those powerful toes, used for climbing up, down and around tree trunks and branches.

The responses to my blip of the piece of boodyware were many and varied. I think the idea of what constitutes Folk Art is a fascinating one and one I will return to.
