Sunny Sunday

Well I feel vindicated. All the naysayers telling us Summer is over and both yesterday and today we have had some lovely weather.
OK it is a bit backendish, which explains why I was pottering about the garden in my nightie catching light while its still good.
If I remember rightly this clematis is called Freckles. It sits on the patio outside the back door in a huge blue glazed pot. I don't think it's ever looked better.
Anyway. A quiet day even managed to spend quite a lot of it in my conservatory reading novels.
And tonight damson ice cream for afters.
