Bass Harbour Head Lighthouse
I woke just after sunrise, in time to catch the golden light on the sea.A drive around Acadia National Park included a visit to the only sandy beach in this part of Maine, called "Sand Beach" where bathers were put off by cold water. The park was well-signed.
After a crab sandwich in Southwest Harbor the drive through Somesville and Bass Harbor led to today's blip, at Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse.
