"Through the Binoculars"...

...Today, this is what I could see - and so - this is how I've presented this blip for you...

... The spindly tops of this old 100ft tall tree which is at the back of our home belonging to our neighbour, is just the most favorite little vantage point and gathering spot for so many little birds for most of the day - especially toward evening...

...I just missed the rosellas, and the magpies, wattle birds, the butcher birds, pigeons, hawks, but the Blue-faced Minors stayed still long enough for me to capture them before another group of little birds took their places..sometimes there are many varieties all at once..but gosh they can move quick...I haven't spotted any sort of pelican up there though, only way high in the sky above - I think they'd know better though - as that's the 'little birds' spot right there...not big enough either for them..they surely can get up high in the trees too, those with bigger branches ofcourse..and mostly nearer to the river bank..

...And here you have them - the Blue-faced Minors..having a bit of a chat....

PS: And - THANKYOU TO ALL - who have commented on our unusual looking Photinia flower over the last 24hrs as Spotlight have just informed me I've been 'Spolightlit' again - I haven't checked yet, so it might have been and gone..but so good considering I spent most of the day sick, so that's really cheering to know that...
