It's much more humid than it looks.. not sure what humid looks like though.
The kids are loving the air con on the subway which is good because we're about a 20 minute ride to downtown Manhattan.

The queue management in the Empire State was Disney-style in its complexity and deception, continually making you think you'd arrived somewhere, only for you to discover that you were in another queue.

But the view was amazing and the audio guide was great - either a genuine New Yorker or someone who had a great script.

The whole place is a strange mixture of completely familiar and completely different than I'd expected.
