Another one bites the dust!

I'm not that concerned that pubs are closing at the rate of 50+ per week across the UK. The trend simply represents changes in social behaviour in the 21st Century - "adapt or die".

What does annoy me however, is the way the large supermarket chains, Tesco in this case, acquire them and then leave as an eyesore for such long periods.
Even worse, there is already another Tesco Store, which used to be a petrol station, just over a mile away. How many do Tesco really need on one road?

Easy to see why the days of the independent small shopkeeper are numbered!
