The Joys of Football

Today's blip is about the sheer exuberance and joie de vivre of a football crowd. Belgium played Scotland tonight in a FIFA cup qualifier at Hampden Park in Glasgow. The fans were working themselves into a frenzy in the streets of the Merchant City as I traversed my way down the Candleriggs. This happy Belgian foursome were delighted to pose for my picture!
Result: Scotland 0 Belgium 2. Gordon Strachan's men competed well, but ultimately outclassed - so I'm told! BBC News reported: Belgium recorded a repeat of their victory in Brussels, with Scotland unable to cope with their power and technique.
These 4 should be happy guys tonight. The city will rock!
