(Nearly) Missed sunset

The good weather ended abruptly this afternoon with a violent thunderstorm and torrential rain. It soon stopped but more is to come, or so the Pundits say! Went on the balcony to put the covers away and glimpsed this sunset, sadly by the time I had got the camera and managed to only get this pale version, hope you can get an idea from this. If I Photo Shopped or such I could get the missed effect back, but that is cheating! Well I think so...
