The Great Tapestry of Scotland - the Ancestors
Managed to get down to see The Great Tapestry of Scotland for about 15 minutes this afternoon. Its huge. Would take ages to do it justice so anyone planning to go, leave loads of time.
The lighting makes it very difficult to take photographs - there are shadows being cast everywhere and so many people milling about that getting a clear shot is a challenge in itself.
I could have blipped almost any of the panels but chose this one because our neolithic ancestors have always fascinated me. Its one of my 'save it up for retirement' plans to investigate some archaeology courses :-)
