Roadtrip.

We're headed back up to Michigan, to spend a relaxing time at Campit, an amazing gay campground we found years ago when we lived in Madison. It's a drive of 1100 miles, which doesn't ever seem like much until you're in the middle of it, re-evaluating your fear of flying.

We were going to board Erin, but after Java we couldn't bear the thought of leaving her behind, so she's patiently putting up with road noise and strange smells. She's really become a much different dog since Java passed - before she was very hesitant and quiet, but now she's stepped right up and decided that we're her people now. Kind of sweet.
