A Sting In The Tail

Another long and lovely sunny day - rather too much paperwork and computer work but it has to be done.

At last, a bee on my white Buddleia - most insects prefer the colour purple it seems. You can clearly see the pollen grains on its furry head.

And the sting in the tail? Not from this little bee, I hasten to add - but one of life's curve-balls shattered the day. Trying hard to remember the saying, 'It's not what happens - but how you react that matters.'
