CORKSCREW
I like these corkscrew tendrils sent out by the pumpkins. It's hard to get any gardening done today for stopping to look at things - pied hoverflies (my first) on the flowering garlic chives, butterflies, and bees. Everyone, ourselves included, is enjoying this Indian summer.
Got all my last minute jobs done and remembered just in time to pick up a pal at the airport who was coming back from Kenya and had wonderful tales to tell. Off to somewhere splendid* in the morning - I think we will be off grid most of the week, so have a good one everyone and I will back blip next week.
* Treading on the territory of two of my favourite blippers - I know I won't be able to capture it anything as well as they can, but that's not what it's about, eh?
