Magnetism
We had a semi-productive day today. We tackled one of the boxes from the "pile of doom" which has been sat in the hall since the boy moved in. Hopefully over the next few days we'll make some more progress and by the end of next week, I might have my hall back.
I then had a bit of a tidying session in the kitchen. I decide to recycle a load of plastic dishes that I don't think have been moved from a shelf in the 6 years they've been sat there. I then moved on to the fridge, the magnets came off the doors and it got a good scrub. Some magnets got thrown away as they were beginning to weld themselves to the door. The photo above is of our "shakespearian" magnets. I'm sure you've come across them before, when drunk at parties, people rearrange them to make hilarious sentences.
After the kitchen I moved on to the shredding. I don't drag the shredder out of the cupboard very often, instead I wait until the shredder box is full and then do it all in one go. This normally works ok but after about an hour and a half it over heated and decided I wasn't allowed top shred any more. I guess it'll get finished tomorrow when the shredder has forgiven me.
