Street Sculpture
Today was crazy, coordinating plumbers, electricians, estate salers, etc. We also had a lot of errands to run. Needless to say, it was not a good day for shooting photos.
We went into one of the neighboring towns to pick up some fresh produce. Nearby was this sculpture which the town had commission from a local artist. There was a plaque but little information on it other than the artist's name.
Since I only had a couple of photos to choose from, I decided to play with this one a bit. I guess all of you Filterama participants inspired me to play with Photoshop a bit. Please understand that I know nothing about Photoshop. I have used it maybe three times using the "auto" settings. So, this was my first real venture into trying to work the incredible dislogic of the program.
I first heightened the contrast a bit. Then I used the black and white filter to convert the color photo to black and white. So far pretty easy. Then, I discovered the color filters, and used several of these sequentially. This is the result of an inordinate amount of time.
Truthfully, I am not sure how I feel about it. But I throw it out there and would relish your critique, comments, etc.
