The future's so bright...

Hurrah and a little bit of relief that the holidays have ended on a high note. After yesterday's unmentionable shopping trip you would think only an actually certified idiot would plan trips to Ikea, B&Q and a carpet shop on the last day of the holiday. But the opportunity of not having to try and go to these places at a weekend was too good to take. The boy is turning 10 in a few weeks and is having a bedroom makeover for his present. Nothing was bought today but all the important research and lots of decisions were made.

Afternoon of bikes, skateboarding, Yathzee, singing lesson, baking, impromptu visit from neighbour and her kids, then our traditional last day treat of Dominos pizza and a movie.

Oh and the trainers we failed to buy in a bricks and mortar shop yesterday turned up from their virtual shop today. Fortunately it was sunny enough to wear shades.
