Lunchtime

Today we took one of our Great Grandsons shopping to exchange the early birthday gift we had gotten. We celebrated an early birthday on July 17th. He wanted a knife for carving wood and the one we had gotten wasn't what he needed. It was a fun time with him. We went to lunch and told him to order anything he wanted. A short stack with cinnamon apple on top and lots of whipped cream. I wondered if he would have a hard time eating it all. Sure enough, he took most of it home in a box. I told him his eyes were bigger than his belly. I didn't have my camera along so had to use our cell phone. The picture wasn't very clear, but you can see the joy on a young guys face. He enjoyed the bites he could eat very much. He said he had to save room for frozen yogurt, so that was the next stop. He managed to eat it all!! A very fun time was had.
