Cameo
Today I returned to the camera repair shop. I needed to go back as the replacement shutter repair hadn't been completed correctly, hence another visit (yes, it's painful!).
I went there direct on the bus after work (fortunately there is only one bus necessary as the route is direct) and on the return journey noticed I was passing by the Cameo Cinema, one of my favourite picture houses. It's an arthouse cinema and one of the oldest surving in Scotland with it's interior still in tact.
I haven't been to the Cameo Cinema for quite some time, but passing by reminded how much of an enjoyable trip back in time a visit is with its armchair seats and velvet curtains, in fact The Artist was the last film I saw there and it couldn't have been a better environment to watch a silent movie.
I had a bit of tussle over today's blip. I felt compelled to leave the tiles on the shop doostep in place, but I wanted to crop more and to have less of the man in the street. The resultant image is a bit of a compromise and another stab at street photography. Please bear in mind that I was simply passing by on the bus when I captured this!
