let it sleep, still it keeps

Second day on the pirogue and I'm already dreading seeing and hearing cars on the roads. We camped out on the river bank last night - there are flat, wide "beaches" every now and then and we've turned one of them our home.

Last night was absolutely amazing - the number of stars you could see in the sky was unbelievable.

This morning we woke up at about half past 5 so we could watch the sunrise. The sky fills up with so many colours...it almost seems unreal. Later on today we stopped at a waterfall where we had a sort of wash - it was more of an opportunity to refresh ourselves rather than actually getting cleaner. Good stuff!
