Blue Heron At Roche Harbor

We got back to Roche today about noon, and discovered that we had a leak in a forward porthole....wet bedding and a bit of work for Bob (it is always something on a boat)!! He's gotten it taken apart, and drying....he just headed over to Friday Harbor to get supplies.

We had a wonderful overnight trip with our friends from Portland, and got them to the ferry just in time to continue their trip....next stop, golfing at Port Ludlow.

I took some time for a little stroll around the gardens and over to the pond area where I spotted this blue heron fishing...loved the color of the grasses and water. The trees are starting to turn red....a touch of fall in the air:) And we had a beautiful sunset, and got together with neighbors for drinks on the back deck. Perfect day:)
