Aysgarth Falls
After the events of yesterday evening I am now home and trying to relax. I took the direct route which, because of all the bends, narrow bridges, horses, tractors and a diversion took a lot more time than the longest route.
Still, I was in no rush and stopped off for an hour at these falls on the River Ure. There are 3 sets and this blip is of the lower falls - no great height as they flow over limestone steps but picturesque.
What I hadn't realised is that I had followed this river for many miles through Boroughbridge, Ripon, Masham (famous for its Black Sheep ale) and Hawes. I'm not only improving my photography through blip but my general knowledge too!
