The only way is down

What do a bunch of kayakers do in Bovec when the river is empty? Go boating without boats of course! (aka canyoning) This photo is of the last "slide". I say slide in inverted comas because there was most defiantly a large amount of free fall in the middle! I was very nearly sensible and chicken out of this but decided to go anyway, then my body thought better of it half way down and tried to get away - Unfortunately this meant that I hit the water with my legs bent - owww! The rest of the canyon was great fun with loads of pools and slides (apart from some dodgy abseiling down a very frayed rope!) The best bit was a slide into a cave.

More pro jumping into the pools in the afternoon. Some of us decided to bike there and I thought I was being very clever with my half biking half swimming outfit until I jumped in and then had a major lack of dry clothes to cycle back in. There is a downside to this multi-activity holiday lark it seems!
