Lovely spot for a dip

A busy day in the alps. Crazy hairpin pass, swimming, diving, more swimming, more diving, some rowing, some summer tobogganing and then some midnight biking.

We went to lake Bled which appears to be Slovenia's tourist hot spot complete with ugly high rise apartments and inflated prices. However even too many tourists couldn't ruin the pretty view of the lake complete with island and castle. We swam to the island and back (loch Venacher take note - no wetsuits needed!) then hired boats and rowed back around it. Or rather the boys rowed and Naomi and I admired the view. All in all a nice relaxing day finished off with a moonlit bike ride where surprise surprise we got lost / scared of a barking dog and electric fence in the middle of the night.
