Public Market
I've been visiting my sister in Wenatchee for nearly 20 years. The town is known as the "apple capitol of the world." In the years I've been visiting, I've seen some economic turnaround. The Pybus Public Market is one such example. The Market opened just a few months ago in an old steel warehouse along the Columbia River. Though they are just getting going, the market carries many of the excellent locally grown fruits as well as Washington wines, artisan crafts and locally made products. I think the Market is going to be a real draw for the area and a boon to Wenatchee.
