Emerson's Birthday Today

This photo is from Emerson's 1st birthday. We can hardly believe that today he is 22.

We remember the day that he was born quite well. The ring of the phone ripped open the early predawn morning and the voice of our son-in-law announced that they needed to get to the hospital, gave our day an immediate rush.

We drove across town to stay at their house with our oldest granddaughter, Ashly, who was just about to be 3-years-old at the time.

It was just several hours later that we were told that a grandson had joined our family and that his name was Emerson.

Today he is 22 years old and a full-time college student. He is also a very nice person. We missed getting to go to his dinner celebration because Mr. Fun's knee is in lots of pain and riding in a car just did not seem feasible.
