Emerson's Birthday

Today our grandson Emerson celebrated his 21st birthday. His request was that we'd all gather for dinner at BJ's Pizza located at Crossings at Corona. So that's what we did. It wasn't exactly easy to get a good candid photo since I was sitting right next to him.

He is delightful to be with and this evening was fun to honor him. He is currently attending college at the same campus where I teach. He spent his summer working for the plumbing company where his dad is a VP, and even though I think he thoroughly enjoyed earning the bucks, I think he is now glad to be back hitting the books and he made a decent wage throughout summer so he can afford the fees.

On another note, it was very warm here today. This morning we took the three pups to the groomer and asked for a summer cut for the two Shihtzus and for little Chloe to just have a bath. So we've now got clean, trimmed pooches.

I can hardly keep my eyes open, so I think that means bedtime has arrived.
