Dim Sum

Just back from a wee birthday outing (S's, not mine!). After a lie-in and a leisurely breakfast, we strolled up to the Odeon for the matinee perf of Reds 2; for a change it was much better than I expected. Last outing there were 6 of us in the cinema, today 4; if we judge things correctly I reckon we could get the place to ourselves next time!

Then we went for dim sum, noodle soup and pearl tea. Hard to beat. A radical wander home via graveyard, gardens, shops and food market then followed, with a stop for prosecco (yes, more prosecco) and Guinness - separate glasses, none of this black velvet cocktail stuff - along the way. A grand day out, and I kept the right trousers!
