Not all there

I am SO behind with my blipfoto entries. The backlog is putting me off, so I'm just popping this one in for today.

I feel like my head has been too busy recently which is making me stupid. It makes no sense at all, I know, but that's how it feels.

I've taken photos on all the missing days so I've got something to put in for the last week, but I'm not sure if I have any words. I wonder if I can write 7 flash fiction in one day for my other account... ????

Richard's beginning to surface after the Bank Holiday madness and squeezed a half a day off work, but has a busy weekend ahead and a surf contest to help run, so we tried to fit a lot into this afternoon in a not-very-much-fun-but-it'll-be-better-when-it's-done kind of way. So we went to Barnstaple and bought some school stuff and underwear, and did other really thrilling things.
We did treat ourselves to some mussels from M&S (so not JUST mussels) and had those with lovely tomatoes and cucumber and salad from the garden. We also bought Tess an umbrella so she is really pleased it's been raining.

We went to the Petroc (local 6th form college) advisory thing camped in the local shopping centre today to find out about Joel retaking his GCSE English and they were very helpful.

Gemma's gone off for a short holiday with 3 friends. She probably won't have mobile phone connection so it'll be just like the old days ;)

I won't bore you with the details of Sainsbury's and Richard getting a haircut.


So sad to hear Seamus Heaney's died today.
