SPORTY BIT – for my Sydney area of friends I understand that today is the National Rugby League game between South Sydney Rabbitohs and West Tigers. The story I hear you say . . . Rabbitohs have 4 brothers playing for them all of whom originate from Yorkshire ! Also it will be the first time 4 brothers have played in the top flight for over 100 years. Come on you Rabbitohs !

In cricket, the Aussies won the first T20 game by a country mile, with Aaron Finch starring with 156 off only 63 balls. The English are about to destroy themselves via the media. As for Yorkshire – well – Durham are taking advantage of this grand seaside weather and the Tykes are having to follow-on. Hmmm – any chance of rain ?
