Scrumping

Liz and I were scrumping today in her back garden.

I went to Liz's new house today which is really nice. As we were having lunch she said that she needed some apples to make her crumble on Sunday.

The house behind her garden has an apple tree and some of the branches hang over her garden. We picked a few but not enough so we had to put a plan into action. I found a banister that has been taken down so we managed to hook some more off the tree.

We couldn't stop laughing as the owner of the tree was sunbathing in her back garden, blissfully unaware of what we were doing.

I'm just sorry that I won't be getting any crumble for my trouble.

It was lovely to chill in the sun and chat away.

Liz loved her new home gifts. I bought her a salad bowl and a utensil holder by Orla Kiely. They look lovely in her new kitchen.

Hopefully it will be sunny again tomorrow so I can chill outside again.
