ON GOLDEN LAND

On a morning walk I took this panoramic view.

It takes in sweep of North Yorkshire, near to the East Yorkshire border. As you can see this is prime farming land and the last crops should be harvested very soon.

Hidden along the view are no less than 5 wind turbines – the landscape to come ?

Not a grand day for Yorkshire Cricket. This early morning Durham were 5 for 2 wickets– currently they are 337 for 5 – quite a comeback ! It is not over till the Fat Lady Sings – whatever that may mean.
