View from Chateau de Beynac

we had a leisurely walk up to the Chateau today, taking the less steep road, rather than through the village ( to help Mr H's knee!). The view is stunning as ever, and worth the effort. We sat at the viewing point for a while and then treated ourselves to a ice cream sundae on the way back down. Mine was vanilla ice cream with walnut liquor and walnuts, and squirty cream. Heaven, and we must have burnt the calories on the way up!
