Dragonfly

Took hound for a morning walk along the prom.  The sky was hazy and the tide was high.  More turnstones appearing daily.  

Headed to the high street and market after breakfast.  The market has a very good range of fruit and vegetables at competitive prices.  Today they had Crown Prince squash which is delicious for roasting, soups, stews etc and keeps well in the fridge for weeks.

The greengrocer had pomegranates.  Last week radicchio this week pomegranates.  We'll eat well here.

Sat in the garden reading in the afternoon.  The dragonfly landed on my leg, long enough to get a good blip. It's the second day this happened.  This time I had my phone camera. 

Made roast vegetables with halloumi for dinner.  The oven here really highlights how poor my previous oven was.
