Waterfall

Today's the day ......................... to say thank you

First of all - a huge thank you to everyone who left stars, hearts and lovely comments on yesterday's blip.  You absolutely made my day!

The above was taken on a walk today, looking down at the River Dee from the bridge that crosses it near our house.  The tide was out and so the river was very low, revealing the gorgeous Silurian bedrock in all its glory.  This is when you get to see this waterfalls in the middle of the channel.  When the tide is high, all these features are way below the surface of the water - out of sight.

It's much more appealing to canoeists when it's in this state.  They come and try to 'shoot the rapids'.  But today, it was all very peaceful - and we had it all to ourselves .......................
