It's A Small Start

A sprinkle this morning but it has stopped.  It's taking a deep breath before returning this afternoon with a fury.  Severe thunderstorms are predicted with high winds and hail a possibility.  The rain I'll take but high winds and hail, not so much.  There'll be a lot more leaves swirling around. The Old Norse word "falla" is the root of the English word "fall".  While it does refer to the physical act of falling down, it also means "slain" in battle.  Well, the trees will be battling the storm that's coming this afternoon, and I expect some leaves will fall.  I just hope it isn't so for the trees or their limbs.
