The Space Between Us
We made our annual pilgrimage to Stroud today, to meet up with my counterpart from Stroud Camera Club to collect the WCPF Travelling Exhibition prints. Somehow we survived the madness in the Waitrose car park and then parked in the one next door before making our way to the usual Curio Lounge for lunch.
After lunch mrsfb did a tour of the shops (shock horror, she bought a dress). I had a wander for a blip and came across a super exhibition of portrait photos by Victoria Kelly. All taken on film, 35mm or medium format. All were taken in Zambia, though she lives in Stroud now. I wonder if she does camera club talks.
We did of course peruse a few charity shops. Mrsfb bought a book, I found something much more exciting. It was a snip at just £1. Certain blippers will understand the extra.
We also popped into the EE shop to investigate mobile phone options as our BT contracts will go up in price when we leave. A very helpful guy gave us some options which didn't seem too bad considering we know we can get a signal with them while others such as O2 and Vodafone may not be as good. However there will be an issue with roaming charges as they can't include it anymore - Brexit! O2 get around it as they are Spanish owned, so we may have to go for them after all.
Update: I've just seen the dress, it's gorgeous!
