Challenges

Still feeling a bit under the weather, so the only pic I got today on the way down to the shops. A Thames Water Challenger.

We tried to book flu vaccinations this morning after getting invitations on the NHS app. I phoned our GP to try to get two times together. I had to hold on to speak to a 'Care Navigator'. Where do they get this stuff from? There were only appointments in Bourton though, all the Northleach ones had gone. 

So we called into the pharmacist where we have had them done before. You have to phone or book on line now. After trying 119 and giving up (long waiting times) I managed to get two for October on line. 11:15 and 11:30. Near enough.

On the subject of invitations we have been invited to Germany for Christmas again by daughter#2's in-laws. We have accepted :-)

The Tolkien talk last night was very good. Of course the Stow church door was mentioned, along with Puzzle Wood in the Forest of Dean.

In other news I have started the mammoth task of switching emails from BT as once we leave we will (in theory) lose IMAP access.
